Mineral Insulated Thermocouples

A mineral insulated thermocouple consists of a seamless metal sheath, which contains the thermocouple conductors; the conductors are embedded in a highly compacted magnesium oxide powder.

The whole assembly is then hermitically sealed giving the conductors full protection from the operating environment. The main advantages are:- stability, durability and the ability to be formed into almost any position, they can be used in almost every industry, and can be tailored to your individual application.

We can also supply them ready calibrated as we are also a UKAS accredited laboratory.
